Airoli Bengali Association is a Charitable Trust, registered under Bombay Public Trusts Act
& Societies Registration Act, Regd. No. MAHA/456/96/Thane dt. 30.10.1996 and with the Office
of Asstt. Charity Commissioner, Thane, Regd. No. F/6346/Thane dt. 23.2.1998. It is located
at Airoli, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
Since inception in 1993 the Trust has been striving hard to serve the community with
selfless dedication. Besides performing various religious activities, like Durga Puja,
Lakshmi Puja, Kali Puja, Saraswati Puja etc.
The Trust helps the needy people of the society in various ways like organizing free Health check up
camps, Blood donation camps, Eye check up camps, donation of study materials to students, relief
materials to the distressed , Medical assistance to the patients etc.
The Trust is active in Social & Cultural front too. We celebrate Republic day, Independence day, 23
se January, Poila Boishakh, 25 se Boishakh, 22 se Shravan etc. We organize Annual Sports, Picnic,
Football tournament.
In association with Nikhil Bharat Bongo Sahitya Sammelan, we have opened a charitable school,
Vidyabharati, for teaching Bengali to our children, specially to those who are born and brought up
away from Bengal.
In this context, we are happy to inform that we had applied to Govt. for allotting a suitable land
to this Trust for construction of Maa Durga Temple and home for cancer patients who come to Tata
Memorial Hospital, Mumbai for treatment. You will be glad to know that CIDCO has allotted a land
(Plot No. 112, Sector-8A, Airoli, Navi Mumbai) to our Trust for this purpose. Right now we are in
the process of approaching NMMC & CIDCO for getting various clearances.
